Great update! Will we be able to see which citations does Pulse get its information from?

Fidji, your vision of Pulse deeply inspires me 🇫🇷

For the past two years, I’ve been exploring similar paths — using AI not to think more, but to live better.

🌿 EduAdapt – personalized learning based on Gardner’s 8 intelligences

💡 InnerShift – an AI copilot that helps align head, heart & body

🇫🇷 Circuit Vital – a wellbeing routine printed in France, to move and breathe better

What you’re building with Pulse is more than technology — it’s accessible empowerment.

Thank you for making AI truly human 💚

Bonjour Fidji. That’s very interesting.

Since ChatGPT was launched in 2022, I’ve always believed that the true value of AI assistants will emerge when they can receive and process content pushed from third parties, combined with all the contextual information available within the app.

The examples shown in the screenshots at the top of the article clearly demonstrate that travel is a natural use case for benefiting from such proactive features, and ChatGPT needs data from travel players.

Sounds great but can you organize pulse by topics and categories cuz not all chats , emails are related to the same thing.

Thanks for posting, Fidji!

Amazing! I knew you'd be rolling out better ways to use AI. Can't wait 'til you come out with your "Open Browser". Having ChatGPT running it with you, grouping your tabs (or circles instead because I'm tired of tabs), chatting about the content, roasting X posts together. Comet's just too over the top, no fun. Keep it up!

this is great! A while ago, I had envisioned proactive agents for day-to-day activities and events to be very similar. Imagine you have a restaurant reservation in your SMS or email, that could act as a trigger for the agent to prep you for the outing. Here's a vibe-coded prototype. https://gemini.google.com/share/f1c4bcd92818

That’s so interesting Fidji, would you be able to share if the prediction is based out of a Markov Chain model (basically ignoring previous states and focusing the inference and next actions based on current status) ? Or if it’s based on previous states to infere what’s next ?

I think the decision to send these updates once per day instead of scattered throughout is a smart one to avoid overwhelming people. However, would appreciate if you can share more tangible examples and ideally even 3rd party research done that shows some of those ~20 hours per week being chipped away at for families using Pulse.

Fidji, I am a believer in your mission, and have an amazing platform product in stealth that you will love. FYI: ex-Meta Director PM for Infrastructure platforms. can’t wait to try out Pulse!

Incredible progress: from reactive agents to proactive agents within 12 months. Marks a new age for human-ai interaction. We'll remember this moment, when we relaxed the guardrails around agent autonomy.

AI cannot predict the future accurately since it is based upon the past.

Powerful. This is a tool where full transparency of provenance for user will be particularly helpful. I loved what I got in my first unsolicited Pulse but wish I knew how it was choosing and working.

exactly this. We're building ActorDO AI Assistant to be the proactive assistant busy professionals need!

Love to check what chatgpt can do.
